During the year 2021, USPCAS-E has published 120 plus publications in renowned international journals covering diverse energy fields including solar energy, wind energy, energy storage, bioenergy, energy materials, electrical vehicles, smart/micro grid, high voltage, and other emerging energy technologies as shown in the graph. Researchers of USPCAS-E have also presented their innovative research ideas in different national and international conferences.

Industries and Organizations engaged: Mobiserve PAKISTAN Pvt limited, Islamic Relief of Pakistan (IRP), M/S Saif Traders, Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC), UN Habitat, and Sky Electric Sustained funding has always been a major challenge faced by any institution. USPCAS-E faculty has actively pursued many local (govt/non-govt) and international funding agencies for further enhancing the capacity in their respective domains and equipping its researchers with most advanced and cuttingedge knowledge suitable for the country’s requirements. Figure 1 gives an overview of the proposals fielded/won by the centre’s faculty in collaboration with the partners in academia and industry. Among the funded proposals in the preceding year, USPCASE faculty has taken a lead in R&D of developing advanced generation batteries for transport and consumer electronics applications. Moreover, various high potential proposals are currently under review with different local and international donors such as HEC, PSF, Horizon, Korea Inst of S&T, Agriculture Linkage Program, Canada Intl Research Development Centre, etc.

The consultancy services offered and won by the Centre’s faculty to various organizations are included in Figure 2. Successful and funded engagements for consultancy with organizations such as Mobiserve PAKISTAN Pvt limited, Islamic Relief of Pakistan (IRP), M/S Saif Traders, Ministry of Climate Change (MoCC), UN Habitat, and Sky Electric etc. clearly depict the clout and strength of the faculty for addressing assortment of challenges faced by the communities.
